You Have to Hear Amy Poehler’s Freestyle Rap About Butter

Look, we don’t have to tell you Amy Poehler is a goddess. There’s simply nothing about her that isn’t amazing. You know this.

And while the ‘SNL’ rap she did back in 2008 — when she was nine months pregnant, no less — will always be my favorite “Amy raps” moment, this is pretty great, too.

Via Vulture:

This week [Amy] appeared on the “Comedy Bang! Bang!” podcast and, as she has two other times, engaged in a good old-fashioned rap battle. The topic was butter, which we all know is a classic rap battle topic.

Just so you know what you’re listening to: First goes host Scott Aukerman, followed by Paul F. Tompkins as Alan Thicke (TV star, TV theme song writer, Robin Thicke‘s dad), then Amy, then Neil Campbell (head writer for the “Comedy Bang! Bang!” TV show). Amy goes on at about 4:45.

Enjoy (but do note it’s definitely NSFW).
